About 1960 Oldsmobile dot com:

NOTE: This site is not affiliated with Genereral Motors, the Oldsmobile Division of GM, or any GM affiliate.

The purpose of this site is provide a gathering place for fellow 1960 Oldsmobile owners and collectors to share information, ask questions and get answers. Until now, there really hasn’t been a single place you can find all of this information. My goal is to make this the single best place to stop if you own (or are only interested in) 1960 Oldsmobiles.

  1. GIORDANO ROMI JÚNIOR

    DEAR LADIS AND GENTLEMEN

My nae is Giordano I live in Brazil. I was raised inside 1960 oldsmobile which sas 4 door ninety eight hard top sedan

it had a tremendously powerfull engine, I recall it roared like a Jet engine.

My father got it brand new from an importat dealer and drove it until 1972 about 220.000 miles with two engines, bout with original hydramatic transmission which never ever required any service or repair.

The car was sold to people that could not mantain it and was thrown to the mud of junk yard. It still exists its last remains rusting sadly in junk yard, it is impracticable and may be impossible to restore it.

IAM LOOKING WITH PURPOSE OF PURCHASING AN OLDSMOBILE 1960. MINT BRAND NEW CONDITION

important no slant back my father´s car had FLAT TOP WITH LITTLE HAT AT BACK FEATURING WRAP AROUND REAR WINDOW

    GIORDANO

IT HAS TO BE 1960, OR ELSE

  2. I was curious….do you know if there are new 1960 oldsmobile gas tanks out there anywhere? I need to get one for the 60 olds I’m restoring.

    thanks for any help.

    Brian Huber

  3. I ended up finding a new gas tank. It is not an origianal olds gas tank but I found that a 1960 cadillac tank has almost the same dimensions as an olds tank. And I got it to work with little modification.
