Fernando Duras-Dallas, TX

This is my 1st full custom project and a project it has become. Well, you can call her a daily project, as it's the only car I've owned for the past three years. Driven everywhere from Point A to Point Z and everywhere else in between.

The plan is to turn this car into a candy-paint-dripping, traditional early 60's show custom. Just like the ol' "little books" customs from back in the day. Authentic Candy apple red paintjob over a pearl base, tuck n roll pleats everywhere, custom hubcaps on 14" steel wheels wrapped in doule pinstripe whitewall bias ply tires, custom stainless exhaust, custom preforated metal grille and tubular grille bars, and the list goes on.

The previous owner started and finished a lot of work already and thankful of that, I've kept the car precisely the way I bought her. Well, aside from changing up wheels like I change my underwear and some minor, tasteful pinstriping. Letting my ideas run rampant and taking time to figure out my excecution has been the best call so far. I fell in love with the way she looked the first time I laid eyes. I'm in no rush. She's not going anywhere.

Thanks for reading,
Fernando
